NFL Youth Football consists of five major initiatives; NFL FLAG, NFL Punt Pass & Kick, NFL Street Unplugged, High School Player Development, and Junior Player Development with over 3 million youngsters participating in these programs each year.

Challenges:

• Build a central online community to highlight all NFL for programs.
• Transfer data collection from offline to online to create a centralized database enhancing accuracy and streamlining administrative maintenance.
• Streamline the administrative workload for NFL national staff as well as their fulfillment house.

Solution:

• Active created a new website to provide a clear navigational path for administrators and players to the various NFL Youth programs.
• Administrative upload tools were developed to import player information into a centralized NFL database quickly and easily.
• Through the database, the NFL can now target players and administrators by region, and as a result their programs have experienced over a 50% increase in retention.
• NFL staff can access email tools, message boards, and community site postings to communicate with players, while administrators can access curriculums and receive online instruction directly from the NFL office.
